Driving across the country with friends seems to be a reoccurring theme for me. This time the destination was the Rocky Mountains. I had very little time here, but the time I did have was spent hiking. Between checking out the Devil's Backbone, Garden of the Gods, and Rocky Mountain National Park, there wasn’t much downtime. Walking over frozen lakes and through giant pines and taking in the fresh mountain air was an experience of a lifetime. Colorado made me feel smaller than any other place I’ve visited, and I’ve never been anywhere that made me happier.
