Breathtaking: the single word I can use to describe the landscape of western Ireland. While in the country I was fortunate enough to attend The Burren College of Arts and have my own studio space to work. County Claire was a very remote and uniquely quiet place. From eating fresh oysters on the water to having a pint in the local pub, this place left me truly grateful for the entire experience. One of my favorite parts about exploring Ireland was that I could walk in almost any direction and within a few miles, there would be a hill to hike, a beach to explore, or livestock to watch and try to befriend.
